My Practice and Approach

My perspective on massage therapy and wellness has been shaped by a blend of personal and observed experiences. As a former athlete I have navigated the physical demands along with the acute and chronic injuries that come with high-level performance.

I learned the importance of self-care early on. The ups and downs of discouragement and frustration, even the embarrassment of feeling less capable than I once.

In addition to my own experiences, I’ve witnessed the profound impact that chronic pain can have on an individual’s life moment to moment, as well as the emotional toll it can take on them and their loved ones. These insights fuel my belief that even brief moments of relief from chronic conditions provide essential space for a person to reconnect with their lives outside of the context of their chronic pain and the physical limitations of their body. These moments of respite can significantly improve one's quality of life and their outlook.

In a world that constantly demands so much from us, I take joy in offering a sanctuary where my clients can fully let their guard down. For a couple of hours, I provide a space where they don’t have to perform. It's my privilege to be a facilitator of a peaceful environment where people can focus on their own restoration.

With a background that combines both science and art, my studies in exercise science, anatomy, figure drawing, and medical illustration, I offer a unique approach to bodywork. My unique blend of educational disciplines has shaped my understanding of the human form, both as an anatomical structure and as a canvas for healing.

I offer treatments that are not only therapeutic but also thoughtful and creative. I strive to continue to expand my knowledge through further education in order to deepen my skills and the benefits I bring to my clients.

Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain or just a moment of stillness, I strive to restore harmony to both body and mind in our sessions. Book online today to begin incorporating self care into your routine. I look forward to working with you.

🌿A Bit About Me

When I'm not in the treatment room, you can find me endlessly exploring creative projects (drawing/composing music) cooking, practicing piano, or hyper-focusing on learning some other new skill.

Or, I may be simply enjoying a slow moment with my cats...
